Consultations and deliberations with like-minded eminent Christian research scholars around the world over a period of time led to the formation of the CCRD Trust in January 2014 with headquarters in Chennai

• To investigate and document the historicity of the St Thomas tradition and its growth in different stages of history.
• To verify to substantiate and to preserve by documenting the indigenous and overseas documents that record the beginnings of Christ’s Mission in India, its growth and development right from the Thomasine days in digital format.
• To set-up and assign specific projects for research scholars to conduct thorough exploratory investigation and analysis of the recorded historical documents and its true interpretation for the benefit of generations to come.
• To provide necessary tools and instruments, and financial scholarships, who volunteer to do such dedicated research studies in the field of early Christianity in India.

The above aims and objectives will be fulfilled by collaborating with government and private research organizations, institutions of higher, theological education, public and private universities in India and overseas.

• If you share our visions concerning CCRD, then you are welcome to register yourself with CCRD as a Patronizing Member.
• The Centre will benefit from any publication you may have made or some authentic corroborative evidence of early Christian Mission in India you may possess. The Centre would appreciate receiving such contributions and be glad to publish/document, with your  concern your material in a CCRD anthology.
